2008 Flying Pig Marathon

Clint completed the Flying Pig Half Marathon on May 4th, 2008 in a time of 2:03:57. Sara was able to get some pictures.

Mary had her baby

Sara's sister, Mary, had her baby today. John Lewis Therrien was born at 12:25pm and weighs 6 lbs 8 ounces at 19" long.

DIY Snowshoes

Finally an update. This one has been in the workings for almost a year, so without further delay... Here's how you can make your own pair of snowshoes. This is a project I worked on last year in preparation for our dogsledding trip in February.

Prepare Affair 2007

Sara and I took part in Prepare Affair 2007. Basically we went around and raked leaves and cleared gutters for people who couldn't. Sara's company People Working Cooperatively does this every year. It was a good time, and it really only took the morning, plus we got a free lunch out of it.

Color choices

This site has a list of color palettes based off of microphotographs (photomicrographs?) of organisms. If I ever decide to redesign this site maybe I'll pick a color scheme from there?

Name Change

This guy legally changed his name to his childhood hero. Who would you change your name to? Mr. Wizard or Buckaroo Bonzai?

Bike Riding

After quite a long time of not posting anything new, I should porbably mention that I have a few sets of pictures that I want to put up, but I just haven't sat down to put them up. Also, I've started to ride my bike to work. It is only 2.5 miles so it is an easy ride. Perhaps I will start a revolution.

UC-Rutgers/David and Jessie visit

Back in November, David and Jessie vistied Cincinnati, and I'm only now getting the pictures online. What a sad slacker I am.

New Router

I finally replaced the screwy router on my network, so now the website should be up much more consistently.

UP 2007

After returning from our expedition to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan, we come bearing pictures. Just a few for starters, more to come soon.
